Lindal in Furness

The local pub is the Railway accross the road, serves some real ales and good food, it isn't open every night. There is also The Black Dog about a mile away see Facebook and also the The General Burgoyne nearby at Urswick.

A few miles away on the other side of the hill from Lindal is Askham and Ireleth, with wonderful views over the Duddon Estuary towards Black Coombe.

Broughton in Furness is nearby and is a great local village with some of the finest pubs. Encourage someone else to drive and enjoy in particular 'The Manor'.The pub has on display a menu of their current beers and a suggestion in which order to drink them.

Coniston and Grizedale are approx 30 minutes away.
